Sound Meditation
In sound meditation, I sound Himalayan singing bowls placed around and on the client’s body to induce a deep meditative state that is very conducive to deep relaxation and healing. Each of these bowls was made over a hundred years ago, with some that are several hundred years old. Buddhist monks in the monasteries of Tibet, Bhutan or Nepal created the bowls out of an alloy containing five or more metals. The monks often created the bowls for meditation or healing purposes by chanting as the bowls were cast. Each bowl has a unique and wonderful tone when sounded or sung. Each session lasts for thirty to forty-five minutes.
